Cinnamon pancakes

Welcome to Little Chef’s Apron! Today we’ll make something that I’m sure all of us love. Pancakes and cinnamon! An easy and delicious breakfast to start your day with!

The pancakes:

Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour(you can even use wheat flour)

1 1/2 cup milk

2 tsp white vinegar

4 tbsp sugar

3 tbsp salted butter

Milk as required

2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp baking soda

2 tsp vanilla essence

1.5 tsp cinnamon powder

Directions:

. First, add milk to a bowl and then the vinegar, make sure that the milk is lukewarm. Stir it nicely and let it sit for 5 minutes.

. In another bowl, add the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix it thoroughly.

. Then add sugar to this and mix it nicely. Melt the butter . A way to make sure that the butter doesn’t get too hot and bubbles up, add cold butter and then melt it. This way you will be able to know when the butter is completely melted and isn’t getting hot.

. To this, add the essence and the buttermilk.as cinnamon can be very overpowering, we are adding vanilla to balance it’s flavour.

. Mix it nicely and add more milk a s required to make a smooth batter. The batter should be a litttle thick and should fall off in intervals. Then add the cinnamon to this and give it a good mix.

. Then heat a pan and put some butter on it. Once it’s melted, pour about 1/4 cup batter and let it to cook for 2-3 minutes on medium flame.

. Then, flip it carefully and apply some more butter.once the pancake has browned on both sides, it would be ready.

. Serve it with a sprinkle of Hershey’s or maple syrup or honey!
