Hi everyone! Today we are making a delicious appetizer that gets ready in no time. It is extremely quick and tastes amazing!
I hope you guys are having a good winter and preparing for christmas!
Even though we dont celebrate, my sister decorates the house and I prepare a feast for all of us along with desserts. This time, I want to do the same but spread over 4 days before christmas…
Moving on with the recipe,
Ingredients required:
3 medium sized potatoes
Oil to fry
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp seasonings( oregano, chili flakes, basil etc)
salt to taste
1 green chili chopped
chopped coriander
Directions:
First, was and peel the potatoes. Then slice them along the longer side like this.

Then take each slice and further cut them into thin pieces.

Rinse them well to get rid of the starch to some extent. Place them on a paper towel until dry.

Then, add some oil in a vessel and let it become hot. Once it has been 4 to 5 minutes add the pieces to the oil and fry until golden brown.

Fry on low flame for at least 7 to 8 minutes.
In another vessel add the butter, chili flakes, oregano, salt and the other seasonings. Mix well until the butter starts to boil. Add the fried potatoes to this along with coriander.

Mix well and serve hot! I have topped them off with some grated cheese.
I hope you guys liked this post and let me know your thoughts in the comments. I will be back with a christmas post!

I think it will taste wonderful, but not served on the newspaper! Also, like Diwali, Christmas is spelled with the
capital “C”.

Thanks! Actually we have that concept in India, the way of serving this type of street food in newspaper… So I thought of just clicking the picture with newspaper to resonate with the culture… Sure, I will change it, thank you🙂

Your dish, Aarushi, is fit for a king! It isn’t ordinary fish and chips that here are served in the newspaper.

Anita and I are not big on deep-fried foods, but you got my attention at ‘grated cheese’! 😁
Wishing you and your family a wonderful, even if ‘uncelebrated’ Christmas, and joy for the New Year.

Well you if you don’t like fried, it would be just as great if you bake the potatoes at 190 or 200 Celsius for a couple of minutes🙂
Thank you so much, same to you❤
