Pizza bites to bright your night!

Welcome to Little Chef’s Kitchen! Making this was a very instant plan. I wanted to eat something soft, cheesy.

Italian was the first thing that came to my mind and thinking off pizza, I got this idea. My main objective was to get the taste of pizza in something not too heavy and large. Starting off with the recipe,

Ingredients required:

1 tsp yeast

1 1/2 tsp sugar

1 cup flour

2 tbsp oil

1/2 cup – 2 tbsp water

salt to taste

6-7 cloves of chopped garlic

2 tbsp butter

1 tsp mixed herbs( oregano and chilli flakes)

1/4 cup pizza and pasta sauce

1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese

a few coriander leaves

Directions:

First, warm the water and add sugar and yeast. Stir and keep aside for 10 minutes until it froths up.

Add flour, salt and oil to a bowl and mix well. Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture.

Then, combine them until a dough like consistency is gotten.

Knead the dough with your hands and sprinkle flour if needed. After kneading for 5-7 minutes, it should spring back if you poke it with your finger. Cover with a cloth and proof for 40 minutes to 1 hour.

Once increased in size, divide it into six equal parts. Roll each one to get a flat circular shape like this.

Grease a muffin tray with oil and place one part of the dough in it. Start to press it with each other at the edges like this.

Add about a tbsp of sauce in this. spread it if you want.

Also add cheese on top that covers the sauce completely along with some oregano and chilli flakes.

Pre heat the oven to 180 degree C for 10 minutes and bake also for 10 minutes. Then bake for 2 minutes at 190 degree C.

Add garlic, butter and a little bit of oil in a pan and place on the stove. once this starts to boil, cook for 2 minutes and switch off the flame. Add the coriander and mixed herbs.

After the pizza bites are baked, apply the butter mixture over this and serve hot!

I hope you guys liked this recipe and let me know your thoughts in the comments below. If you would like to know anything, like making the sauce at home, or making these without the muffin tray, let me know your doubts.

Question of the day!

What do you prefer and why, Red sauce( arriabata) or white sauce(Alfredo)?

  1. Looks like a simple, delicious, and quick-to-make snack. How long did it take?

I prefer the pesto on my pizza. But to answer your question, I’ll choose the white sauce (Alfredo).
    Thanks for sharing always 🥰

My work time took about 30 minutes and including the proofing and baking, it was 1 hour 30 minutes. Wow! That seems like a very unique choice. Most welcome💖
