5 minute brownie: extremely simple

Welcome to Little Chef’s Apron! Today we’ll make something that is an easy recipe and takes only 2 minutes to cook. It is a very delicious one and the good part is that it doesn’t take long before you have to eat it!

The brownie:

Ingredients:

1/4 cup chocolate

2 tbsp salted/ unsalted butter

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup all purpose flour

2 tbsp milk if required

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tsp coffee( optional)

Directions:

. First chop the chocolate roughly. I am using Hershey’s chocolate but you can use anything( compound chocolate, silk etc) prefer not to use dairy milk.

. Then add the butter in this and make sure that it is soft butter or else it wouldn’t melt

. Microwave it for 30 seconds interval till the chocolate and butter is combined and melted properly.

. Then at to a bowl and let it come to a warm temperature. This would not take more than a minute or two. Add the sugar to this and mix it nicely

. While adding the flour, don’t sieve it because brownie is that recipe where you want the dense texture unlike other spongy cakes.

. Add the flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt only if you used unsalted butter.

. Mix it thoroughly and make sure that it is an extremely thick batter. If It is becoming the consistency of dough then add coffee dissolved in milk slowly making sure to maintain the thick consistency. When you add coffee it enhances the chocolate taste.

Once this is done, dust a microwaveable dish with oil and flour. Transfer the batter to this making sure about its rectangular or square shape. As the batter is thick you can mould it in any shape you want.

. Then microwave it for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Make sure that you have an eye on them for the last 20 seconds. If you think they are uncooked then keep them for another 10-20 seconds.

DO NOT place a knife and check as a nice amount of fudge will come out from the melted chocolate. If you want you can also place some chocolate chunks on the top to give that melted chocolate effect on top.

. When it’s done, let it cool down for 5 minutes and then cut it and serve with a dash of ice cream and syrup!

Do tell me which versions you tried and how did you like the recipe. Also let me know for any requests or improvements!
