Rosemary and thyme grilled potato wedges:

Welcome to Little Chef’s Apron! Today we’ll make something that is very easy in steps and delicious to eat…. It requires very minimal ingredients and sit back and cook along!

Before we start on for today’s recipe I wanted to show you something. I am usually more of a calligraphy person in art but this time, I tried a doodle. That day, instead of trying out recipe in reality, I thought why not to doodle them? Here is a baking and cooking doodle that I recently tried out:

This recipe serves 5 people(as a snack)

Potato wedges:

Ingredients:

3-4 potatoes

Water to boil

4 tbsp salt

1 tsp dried rosemary, 1 tsp thyme and all the other seasonings of your choice.

( I am using these but you can make them jalapeño flavoured, oregano or chilli, anything that you like)

2 tsp oil(I am using groundnut oil)

Directions:

Then, add water to a pan and let it come to boil. Add in the salt and mix well. Make sure you do not add sat in the later stages because this will give a lot of flavour to the potato.

First, cut the peeled potatoes in a wedges shape. If there is time before you need to serve these, you can place them in water so they don’t get black.

Let the water come to boil in a pan.

Add in the potatoes and let it boil for 5-7 minutes.

After done, remove the wedges and soak them in a cloth or tissue paper immediately.

Then, add it to a bowl and add the oil and other seasonings. This is the point to add rosemary and thyme.

Now, toss them up properly ad make sure they are mixed. Place them on a non-stick baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180⁰ for 10 minutes. After that, flip them and bake again at 190⁰ for 10 minutes.

Let them cool down for 2 minutes and enjoy the crispy potato wedges with any dip of our choice. I have made mine thinner with the help of lemon juice and cream and serve!!

Here is a cheesy recipe that you might like from my earlier posts:

QUESTION: what do you like to have any fried good s with? Cheese spread? Jalapeño dip? Chilli cheese dip? Or even in sweets, which is your favourite spread or syrup?
