Welcome to Little Chef’s Kitchen! I feel that brownies should have been my first post on this blog because they are too delicious!!!
Knowing that it did not happen, I immediately knew that I needed to try brownies as soon as possible.
My sister’s college had reopened again so as a farewell treat, the day before, I made her these brownies along with some cookies which are some of her favorite delicacies.
I wanted to get those perfect brownies with the perfect texture and the crackled top and this had met my expectations.
It is really not that hard to make it, completely easy. If you are a chocolate lover, brownies are a must on your kitchen, recipes list!
Starting off with the recipe,
Ingredients required:
1 cup chopped dark chocolate
1/4 cup regular, salted butter
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup thick curd
1/4-1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp chocolate chips
Directions:
First, add butter and chocolate to a microwave safe bowl and microwave until melted in intervals of 30 seconds.

Mix well and add it to a larger bowl.

To get thick curd, you can hang it in a sieve and press is to so that the water gets out to some extent. If you have greek yogurt, it is the best option.
Add the curd to the butter and chocolate mixture along with the sugar. Whisk well until the lumps of curd are gone and the sugar is dissolved.

In another bowl, add the flour, baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder.

Mix it well and add it in batches to the chocolate mixture. Along with the flour, add little bit milk as well.

Using a whisk, slowly incorporate all the ingredients. You would have noticed why we are not sieving the ingredients, in this particular recipe.

If you would like to know why, do ask in the comments.
I have taken a rectangular dish and greased it with oil. Then I placed parchment sheet horizontally as well as vertically.
Add the batter to this and spread it evenly to make sure there is an even layer on the top. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.

In a pre heated oven, bake at 180 degree C for 25 minutes. Then, bake at 170 degree C for 5 minutes.

Once baked, let it cool down completely and serve warm!
I hope you guys liked this recipe and do let me know your thoughts in the comments. If you have any suggestions, requests for a recipe or any other matter, you can let me know in the comments or here:
